Kent and Sussex owners ever meet...?

There has been a meet for everyone every second month in spring/summer. Next one was planned for the 11th July. It's usually at the Italian night at the Ace Cafe in north London. Would be interested in a south-east drive at some point, if anyone's interested.

I'm away for the 11th, so can't make this one. Can't say I'd miss the food at the Ace if it was moved somewhere else...

Why don't we do a weekend meet? Weekday meets are near impossible for me due to work.

What about in the area in the sort of triangle of...Royal Tunbridge Wells, Haywards Heath and Burwash? Anyone recommend anywhere? Should be able to find a decent pub with good food in that area I would have thought.

If only I was looking to loose weight, I'd know where to go for lunch every day! Genuinely looking forward to the next meet (wherever it is), I had my laptop and an angry client to deal with at the last one, so got a bit fed-up with not joining in.

Chris - You able to do the 21st for lunch or would you rather leave it? If we do go ahead and set a date I'm sure we'd get a few others. Once the sun is shining I'm sure people would take every opportunity!
That said...what happened to the Summer BBQ?
Rossyl I'd be keen for a weekend meet in Tunbridge Wells area - I live in this neck of the woods and can immediately think of a couple of decent country pubs, 1 in particular that is popular with car clubs.
I can't make the 21st but can do the 28th if you and others could make it....

A meetup on the 28th sounds good to me, which is the pub you were thinking of, Simon? And we will need a few tips for a decent bit of road to get there on! ; )

For starters, the Nevill Crest and Gun pub is a decent place just south of Tunbridge Wells - http://www.brunningandprice.co.uk/nevillcrestandgun/home/
I've been there before when a car club has visited - many of the cars were parked in the spaces in front of the pub, but they won't rope it off unfortunately, its first come-first parked. But there is also a car park behind which is adjacent to the rear gardens so if decent weather can sit outside admiring the view (East Sussex countryside and Maseratis...) It is popular and gets busy in good weather so an earlier arrival is probably best to get parked together if that's what people want...
I will put my thinking cap on for some alternatives.
