if you want a reliable everyday sports car you buy a porsche...ill like to see lotus take that away...its 2 different markets though....

lotus wont be mass produced and itll be something similar to what TVR had just better models....customers are enthusiast.....

If Lotus get the product right and get great reviews there are buyers out there ... Lotus is like Maserati ..... You get it or yhou don't and the ones that get it onpy a Lotus will do. Once you drive one and put it in a bend you realise what all the fuss is about.

Blah....

Elite, Looks great, will go like stink but £115,000, it doesn't have a hope in ****, people will buy the Porsche 911 Turbo, DB9, Bentley, Maserati GTS Stradale etc, again this is dead before it's born.

Stuff...

Having had an Aston, Bentley, Maserati and not being fond of Porsche I may well be in the market for one of these in a few years time.
Don't forget there's an awful lot of young Elise and Exige owners that are growing up and wanting more "sensible" cars as they progress through life.
They may not end up with production numbers to rival the big names, but I'm sure they will still sell.
Lotus is after all an iconic name synonymous engineering excellence.

Oh, and back on topic... I don't think the new Lambo looks new enough.
More of a facelift, although I'm sure (hope) it's radically different under the skin.

Right Lotus wont pull it off, if they do, then i will treat you all to Lunch at Claridges in London and you can choose any bottle of wine from the list.

Better put down the ground rules of this bet Adam, don't want you backing out in three years time when we come to collect.

Depends on what you mean by quality... if I want a car that reboots the sat nav whenever it feels like it, the ipod connection is primitive and under amplified, with a squeaky driver's seat then I'll buy another Maserati.
If I want one that does all of the above (possibly more) .....and "handle's", I'll buy a Lotus.
