I'm currently sat in the Novatel in Beaune just down the road from Dijon. Good trip here, had a bit of company along the way with a 4200 for for an hour or so. Spotted a speed camera at 120mph just in time to slow to 65ish :D
Which is more than could be said for last night on my way back from St Trop to Nice.... Oh well, I guess I'll add it to my other souvenirs when it comes through the post :D

Really enjoyed the drive, amazing to see the changes in landscape, architecture and weather over the course of a few hours.

It's been the best holiday in ages Matt, loads of variety and not a dull moment. Obviously I've only told Louise that it's been "alright"...
She arrived in Koz last night, so with a week on my own at home my holiday is far from over ;)
Just about to set off on the final leg...

So are you a possible for next year then?

My brother has the bug now and is a definite for next year, just needs a descent car!

We are going to be over subscribed next year but we have another place up the road.

Love the pics. Some iconic cars there!
Regards future classics. Alfa SZ prices are climbing like ****. Rare car, and solid investments.
Some of the Fiat 500 Abarth spin offs, like the Corsa, Ferrari, and Maserati versions, will be silly money soon.

Andy.

Le Mans of 2013 won't start, until me and some guys from England agree to make a trip to France.

For this year i was planning to do this in the 4200 together with two friends, one with E-type, one with a 308 BB. But..work..work..work...

Great pics Miles and Paul, hope i'll be able to join you next time! Or are you thinking of the autumn factory tours?

It's nice but looks like a rip off of the Alfa 4C, check out the wrap round glass and roof line.

Still nice none the less. I particularly like the nose round grills that mimic the Alpine 110 spot lights, a very nice touch.

Well I'm home!

What a trip! Thouroughly enjoyed every minute of it (well, ok there was a couple of days that could have been better ;) )
Starting in Portsmouth last Wednesday meeting new friends, the journey to Le Mans, the MILF with knockers, the waitress with the phenomenal (natural) knockers, the mad little bar that we drank dry, the racing, both on and off the track! Showing off in Arnage, and of course the great company. Only to then carry on down to the sunny south and touring around, and finally the road trip home.

Definitely put me down for next year's Le Mans and the following year's classic! I'd strongly urge anyone going next year to encorperate tagging a holiday on the end of Le Mans. Fly the family out to meet you somewhere or perhaps a few of us to continue the fun..?

Cheers to Matt for organising the first part of my trip, and to all the rest of you that made it special. Over the years I've done a fair few trips and stuff through forums, but this ranks as the best so far :D

Can't recommend it enough for anyone else considering it for next time.
