I tried to get my mate to come along as he is a driving instructor at Milbrook but he is already booked to be at Bedford on friday. A real bummer as he is really good at getting that little extra from you with little hints on how to improve. Maybe I can get him to another event.

Looking forward to Friday but a bit worried about Thursday night, not sure I have the stamina to keep up with your reputations

Yes it is now......At least you will not ruin your already ruined tyres any more....Wet is good to helping your tread...

If it's wet the current rears will have no grip, the tread was only just legal for the MOT. I might have to fit the new tyres to give me a chance of keeping the rears from spinning up and throwing the back end out.

I have exactly the same dilemma as you Zag... Got about 2mm left on my fronts... Was hoping to finish them off before using my new ones! Think I'll take my two new ones with me just in case.... There's a tyre centre on the Llandow estate somewhere!
