In a collection i would guess and not been used.
I am not sure but i was told that lack of use is worse than overuse as seals and gaskets dry out and facilitate a total rebuild.
I may be wrong though.
I am catching up andy LOL!!

I myself would be worried about lack of use. Would imagine it's been on show somewhere.....I saw it at my Local Indi dealer the other week and looks pretty much as new. Also know that he sold a number of cars for a chap who has bloody loads. He has his Ultima up there and he sold his Lotus Carlton so perhaps its this chaps.

Anyone coming to Llandow will be able to ask him about it as this is Mad Chris the chap coming along to give some instruction...Was hoping he could bring along the GT he has for sale but it's not his.

There is a red 3200 on the web for sale with just 9k...again very little use, but as you state if its dried up all the hoses/seals and not been serviced every 12 months you could end up with a money pit.

Still would look nice as a feature in your living room!

Yes, that is in lovely condition, but I do share the sentiments of a few above, that car is meant to be driven, such a shame its spent its life as a garage queen, with the owner more interested in the re sale value.

Lifes for living!

Agree Matt, not spoken to Chris about the car but will do next time I see him and find out whats what. I know the car is a 'classic' but I just wouldn't want to spend over 100k on it if I had the pennies especially after my dreams of as a lad was shattered after going in one...It was just a dog to drive.

Was the Diablo Andy? I always new the Countach was a dog to drive, but would have thought Lambo would not make the same mistake twice!

God at 44 student days are well over......I'm a Transport Operations Manager for ASDA and going through my Certificate of Professional Competance. Basically you need this to be a Distribution Manager. It makes you a Professional in the eyes of Transport operations and also makes you responsible so if something goes wrong it's your **** on the line and you are the one that goes to prison and becomes a ***** to a prisoner called big bubba

Passed my CPC back in 1982 , not sure whether it would still be valid or whether i would need to do a re-take , Azda given you a week off to study , lucky bugger i had to do my studying over a few months in my own time , if the exam is similar or the same as when i took it Andy you'll breeze it mate ,

Totally different now Loz....Back then it was just multiple choice as I understand it..Now there are 3 papers...1 30 multiple choice on Law and business - passed that one - 1 case study - passed that one thank God - 1 45 multiple choice just have to take that one on Friday. So nearly there. And no company not giving me a week for study having to take some hols...OK they are paying for the course which isn't cheap. Silly thing is I've been doing the job for 2 years now and this bit of paper will not make me a better Transport Manager than I am today. A good one to have though if I want to jump ship..........And ASDA have just purchases Netto stores......I do fancy a trip to Denmark.

Yours will still be valid Loz. Never run out.
