Hi all,

Just signed up as I am in the hunt for a Gransport, budget around 20k, if anyone has one they are looking to sell.

On a side note as you never know, I have an 2005 Estoril Blue E46 M3 (Owned for 9 years) that could look at doing a swap with.

Many thanks
Ryan

Thanks for that, spoke to Richard this afternoon, blow away by his knowledge of the current cars for sale, and how helpful and willing he was to give me his time. If he had one for sale I would have probably put a deposit down on it there and then, haha
Making progress!!! Keep us posted...

“Looking for a GranSport”.
That’s the most encouraging thread title I’ve seen on here for a long time!
Well done, and fingers crossed the right one crops up for you soon.
My phone has melted with people on the Gransport trail this week. It’s clear they’ve hit their trough and are now on the way back up. They’ve not been sought after post Covid but they’re simply too good to be ignored now. In only the last fortnight the McGrath car appears to have sold, I’ve sold the Rosso car and Urby’s car sold too. I know of two others that have changed hands too. A good Gransport at £25k+ is still a bargain and those in the know are now buying.

Glad to hear demand for Gransport cars is on the rise. I am into seven years of ownership of mine, purchased from Richard Grace, simply a wonderful car. Serviced on the dot every year by Marios and his team at Autoshield. Not a high miler, but "used every year in summer months only putting around 1500 miles on it each year that Autoshield describes as 'sensible usage'.

Both the GS and the 911 Turbo are used in summer only and between them do around 3k miles per annum.

The Turbo is the higher maintenance car. You cannot run a Turbo on a shoestring hudget.

The GS is nowhere near the running costs of an immaculate 911 Turbo. The GS is good value. That's why I'd not sell mine at the low prices today. I bought when the market was almost at its peak. So I'll just continue to enjoy it. It is on SORN since end of October last year until 1st May.

Already booked in for service at Autoshield in summer.

If I'd have had the money to, this is where I'd have put mine, (not that I'm not in love with my 4200). Sell my MR2 and I'm only paying 3k or so difference to be in a Maserati, that's totally sensible in my eyes. The Gransport I wanted would have been another 12k ontop, that I can not justify in my position.

Missed the boat... more than likely in my case.

Its good to see things may well be on the rise re the Gransports , summer round the corner and all , at sub 18K miles I need to get some miles on mine before i'd even think of letting this one go
