Hi Guys

I was asked if I would like to put the Merak on the stand at the NEC , which I was happy to do it created a lot of interest alongside all the classics at the show. Maserati club won best stand of the show and best car of the show with the 5000 GT an immaculate example.
It has taken a long time to get it to this condition and I am now enjoying the car very much, needless to say the GT has been in the Garage most of the year.

I looked at your car at the show and its a stunning car and a credit to you. The club had a good selection of cars on the stand lets hope they can do as well next year but with a nice Shamal and 3200 / AC as well.

Thanks for that mate, I was on the stand on the Friday all day for the club and was amazed at the amount of people we had visiting.

If someone has a really nice 3200, ideally an AC, and a Shamal, then as I am organising it, they will be on the stand at the NEC next year. the currant plan is certainly to have a 3200 and a BiTurbo on the stand.

And yes Pete, that Merak of yours was sublime... Thank you so much for sharing it with us :)

I'm happy for you to use mine. I will get a few bits tidied up before then but I'm sure there are other nice examples on this forum to use.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to speak to you on the stand on the Friday and Saturday :numberone:when I was on but I understand you will be doing next years bash.
