Hello Everyone!

My name's Giuseppe and I live in a small town just outside of Princeton. I first became interested in Alfa Romeo when they announced plans to develop a new Spider roadster as well as a redesigned Mazda Miata.

I thought to myself this would be great news for any enthusiast interested in a roadster as an everyday vehicle and decided to get as much information as possible regarding the Spider.

Soon thereafter, I read a press release from Sergio Marchionne's office declaring the release of the Alfa Romeo 4C as a sports car that would compete with Lotus and Porsche for shares in the US market.

Last, but not least; pictures and specs on the 4C became available, as well as potential designs and specs for the Spider and I was hooked! Finally, a sports car and roadster with Italian style and performance! Viva Italia e Viva Alfa Romeo!

Hey Guiseppei, glad you found us.

I dont think we have any other US Alfisti at the moment, consider yourself the first.

The 4C does look good, I think it does have some issues though but limited production and the mystic behind Alfa Romeo should see it do very well though.

If you're glad.....I'm ecstatic to find this forum and thank you for the warm greeting!

In a recent mash-up with the Porsche Cayman; while it's true the 4C did not produce quite the same performance numbers, it's also true the 4C is way ahead in style points. Some automotive journalists in the US have called it the most beautiful car in the world for 2014 and I agree.

This is not meant as a criticism of the Cayman, on the contrary, it is a true engineering marvel and a very sweet ride! But, take in consideration how long the Cayman has been in production. I'd venture to say that in a year or two Mr. Marchionne will deliver a 4C that will surpass the Porsche in not only aesthetics, but performance as well.
