Newton,
OK mate we will see you around Noon, tiredness will soon dissapear..!!
Simon,
They are a sod these batteries, luckily I think the tracker fitted to mine ddoes not activate until the car is moving, so I have not had an issue so far..!! To get the battery out without a struggle:
Take the retainer off that runs behind the lock latch, I think 5 screws, then undo the black plastic sort of nut (it's a clip) in the wheel well, take out the wheel well cover. Then ease out the right hand battery liner of the boot, this will expose the battery area and make it much easier to get the battery out and it only takes a few minutes. Is the battery quite new but just flat, if so will it recharge..?? Shame was looking forward to seeing your car, maybe next time..!!

Weather is still looking like being a bit windy, with the odd shower, or drizzle and quite cold..!! So good enough to travel..!! It's chucking it down here at the minute and has been all afternoon, so just watch out for deep puddles just in case..!!
See you all around Noon'ish..!!
Cheers

Desperately windy and 4 degrees when we got there but both Spyders had their roofes down! Managed 14 Maseratis in the car park and great to see everyone albeit briefely (got there about 12.10) left after the dining party seated but got a few photos.

Really good to meet you all today and put some faces to names. Thanks for organising Robert. Good company, excellent food and some very nice cars. Sorry we had to shoot after 3 Acres to pick up my daughter. Look forward to meeting up with you all again soon, hopefully with similar skies but at least 10 degrees warmer.

Hi chaps, just got home and thanks for a cracking day out. Roof down all the way home as well despite the rain. Really good to see such a good turn out and nice to see some new faces as well as some ugly old ones! Thanks for organising Robert and here's to the next one when the weather is a bit warmer!

Excellent call all round Robert, and the weather held out till 5pm. A pleasant number of members for dinner and the café was a surprise, very nice, like a shoe shop for the men.
Was the flat cap, to remind us it was a northern meet.

Also good to see those that ventured up to our neck of the woods, and thought it was cold, although it was reasonably warm for this time of year.

It was a really good day and thanks to everybody for turning out in low temperatures and wind. Good to see a great line up of cars for this first Northern Maserati Meet, nice to see them all lined up in the sunshine..!! Food was good, great company great cars, what more could anyone ask.....suggestions..?? The Oil Can Cafe was a really good and different location, thanks for suggesting that Mike (I think), it was interesting to see a good line up of different old roadsters and sports cars..!!
I will leave it a few weeks then start having a look around for the next meet, maybe April / May time, or do you want it sooner..?? Any suggestions very welcome..!!
Hope you all get to where you are going safely..!!
Cheers

I think April/May would be better due to the weather factor. Perhaps a longer run next time; this one was starting to look ok and then we got there!

Yes not many cafes where you can enjoy a cup of tea out of china cups, with a nice slice of home made cake, while seated next to a V10 Bristol Fighter and Radical track car and others!
