Oulton Park Supercar Display - Easter Monday Bank Holiday - 18th April

Dave Morris has been in touch about Bank Holiday Monday. Unfortunately it seems he has not been too well over the winter, but has recovered enough to be organising the traditional Supercar Display. He has asked if we would post on here about it and invite everyone to bring their Maserati along on the Monday.
For those who have not been fortunate enough to have attended before, it is a great day. The idea is that you come along in the car, get free entrance for yourself and a passenger, and special parking very close to the Paddock. In exchange, you turn up early and leave your car in the car park all day to be drooled over by the world at large!
In the past we have arranged to meet up at various places with the aim of arriving in convoy at Oulton at 9.30 am. Normally the bulk of folk meet up at Lymm Services near the M56 and M6 junction, and then do the M56 and A49, picking up some waifs and strays at the Riverside Inn, Acton Bridge, on the way.
Since we do not get tickets in advance, but depend upon Dave meeting us at the gate to get us in, then it is very inconvenient for Dave if we do not all arrive together.
If you can come along, it will be a great pleasure to see you (again!). Please add your name to the list - and put where you will meet up with the convoy.
Many thanks

Help!!!!
Apparently the Oulton Park Circuit owners have asked if they could use the SportsMaserati logo in their Easter Monday advertising - to show that we will be there with our cars.
Who can authorise them to use it????
Thanks for the help.

@conaero is the owner, send him a PM. Or he might magically appear here to take great wads of cash from J. Palmer for the privilege.

8. dickygrace - I will be honest, weather permitting, not going if it’s a foul morning in my dry weather pride and joy.

Hey-yup Folk
Really looking forward to the pleasure of seeing you on Monday. The latest weather forecast for here is for a dry day with sunny spells in the afternoon.
My memory is not what it was - and two years of pandemic have dulled it as well - so can I check with you youngsters? In the past we have worked on the basis of the convoy leaving Lymm Services at 9.00, picking up the odds and others at The Riverside at 9.15 with the aim of getting to the Oulton gate at 9.30 - is that right?
I also seem to remember that in the most recent meetings, we have ended up split up by the marshals when parking. I`ve mentioned this to Dave Morris and he is emphatic that we should be parked together - SO if anyone tries to get us parked in different places, please tell them that we were told we would be parked together (that is unless the last thing you want is to park near the rest of us!!!)
Love and affection
Terry

That's how it normally works. I might come along for sh!ts and giggles, depending on how the weekend works out.

Might actually be able to make this event. I should be able to get to Lymm services for 09:00am.

Hope to see you all there
