Apart from last year, when I'd had enough of cr@p elsewhere :frusty5:, I have organised a 'showing' of our lovely alfa's at this event.

Tried to upload a pic from 2012 but can't manage it :(

Anyway a great day out with FREE parking in Peterborough city centre!

I know it's a while away but if you fancy joining us please let me know.....it'll be September before we know it :lol2:

Fab all of you!

It looks like the weekend of the 21st/ 22nd of September. If anyone wants to stay -Tess has bagged the spare bed! There are a couple of cheapish hotels nearby-premier inn and holiday inn express.

I will email my contact and tell him that the Alfa's will be out en force this year :D

Right, gonna fill the form in this weekend, will ask for space for 12-yes thats 12 cars to show!!

If anyone wants me to look into accommodation locally to me-then we can have a get together either in a local hostelry or at mine. I need preferences for which day though please ASAP!!!! Please let me know as I have to put on the form.

Usually a 10.30-11 a.m start so this might help with people travelling to the hot spot of Cambridgshire-don't blink or you'll miss it!

Stayed a few nights in Peterborough a few years back.

Very quiet place, 10 pm everything was shut ! I got depressed :/

Still, a nice Alfa meet would stir things up there ;)

I remember moving down her -from Yorkshie- in the early 80's, went into town one evening and got stopped by the plod wanting to know whaqt we were doing......'going to the pub officer'..............not a thing open at all.......not changed a massive amount since :(

But YES out italian cars at the festival are always an attraction :D
