Hi All

I'm taking part in the Children's Trust Supercar parade on Saturday 26th March as part of Piazza Italia in Horsham. The basic format is:

Meet outside of Horsham (usually Hop Oast car park) at 10.
Convoy in to Horsham (usually under police escort) at 10.30.
Parade in to the market square and park up in the Carfax to display the cars from 11-3.
Cars parade out of Horsham at 3 - then you are free to leave.

They have space for 30 cars and already have a number attendees signed up, but I did say that there may be some of the SM crowd that would want to take part. She can't confirm the numbers needed, but it would be good to get a mix of cars, especially the loud ones (MAF, Phil et al), as the crowds will love them revving through the centre of town. There are some good clips on Youtube - Turbo Power TV has some clips; there are loads more.

I expect there may be 5 places available to us, maybe more, but I thought I'd get a list going to see who was interested. Please add your name and car, confirming your availability (rock solid, as this is a large event and I need to go back to the Chidren's Trust with an exact confirmation) and I will pass it back to the organiser by the end of this week 31st Jan. They will then select the cars and attendees.

As Horsham isn't far from me so put me down.

The only Caveat I have, is the wedding I'm going to in the evening. Although I should be ok.

Definitely available if I haven't sold the car and I do have an Alfa 156 if it sells, but not really show-worthy!

I like the description! I look forward to hearing the car soon... probably even louder than mine!

This sounds like a great event, but it's just a bit too far ahead for me to be able to commit.

This gives you a vague idea. Much louder in reality!!

Ooooh, thanks for that! I suspect I may have to investigate... Can't wait to test Myfanwy's sound when the good weather comes around. Currently SORN since I bought her :(

If your exhaust is standard you will suddenly decide you need a visit to the dark side. These cars are too stifled straight from the factory. A certain Mr Benny of this forum is the 'dealer' in SM exhausts - you can get close to the noise of mine for an awful lot less cash!

Thankfully the only thing that's standard is the back box. Larini bypass cats and X-pipe, and then sport-mode opens up the valves, so pretty beefy. I just wonder whether I'd prefer a different back box to give a bit more scream.
