What's the story with your V6, Gaz? Is it a rebuild of a Cat C/D or are you just having a lot of work done to one you already owned?

I've had it for nearly 6 years, i just enjoyed driving it so much to the point that everything broke or wore out at the same time!

Pretty much all new underneath, brand new suspension all round, just had a big engine job and the paint was about 5 years past its best. I had more or less done every other big job i could have so a respray was the last one on the list. I couldnt put it off any longer so bit the bullet, booked it in and ordered some Ferrari Rosso Scuderia for it :)

Engine dress up and supercharger next

Very nice - love the quad exhausts. I had dual DTM letterboxes on mine, looked cool but not as cool as the quads! Bet it sounds nice too.

Footballish, Nick. Better in the latter parts of the season. Have high hopes for next season though :)

It sounds alright, not too loud and a nice burble. Screams when kicking on a bit :D

Man you have had some impressive cars Andy! :) Love the 155's :)

I was quite taken with K33 WEL Which is unusual for me as silver cars don't normally ring me bell.:goodjob:

I will maybe put some pics up of me Spider, but having worked me way all through that thread and seen that lot...............

Zoe.........

My little yellow Spider. I am in the throws of deciding which way I'm going to go with her, I could chuck some serious money at her, for a new hood (that she don't really need, but would look nice) and new Koni front legs and new springs all round, they are a bit rusty. If I did that, I would keep her until I fell off me perch. There are a couple of other options that would involve getting something else, a sort of a project car, summat to tinker with.

ATB, Ray.

This one is on its way in a few weeks (edit) its no longer going to happen

P4 33 is now a keeper

As is my black V6 75

155 3.0, 24v is now on the drive sitting on 17" wheels ready for Mot

The plan was to cut down to 2, that failed, 3 it is but I like even numbers so 4, sorry if you seen the pics in other threads, just putting them here in one post

Hi Van,

I have toyed with the idea of different wheels, and if I was going to do it, I should have done it before I put new tyres on her. I have mixed feelings about the teardrop wheels, I actually quite like them, and they are in very good condition, and they are original of course. I have read all kinds of opinions regarding them, and most folk seem to think that 17 inch teledials work the best, they do look nice, but I am a bit reluctant to pay the very high prices people want for them because they think they are popular. I may have that wrong of course, it may be because they are just hard to come by?

LIke I said previously, I got some thinking to do, IMHO she isn't even run in yet with only 56k on the clock, she is fully polybushed at the rear, complete with new Konis, so polybushing the front and giving her new Koni legs and new springs all round, she will be as good as she can be in the handling department, a new hood would then be next on the cards I was thinking from Carhood Warehouse, but if anybody knows anywhere better I would be interested to hear about them? Her innards are unmarked, so nowt to do there, everything works exactly as it should.

As far as I know, there aint much one can do to a Twinny engine in the way of tuning, well not anything that is meaningful and reasonably priced that is? Anyway, she is a bloody sight faster than me around these Devon B roads and country lanes, actually, she is a bloody sight faster than most things around these Devon B roads and country lanes. She looses out to bigger more powerful cars on the A roads and motorways, but I don't venture onto motorways over much, and on A roads I just drive like an old fart, then they leave me alone!

A lot of the foregoing is just me thinking out loud really and I would very much be interested in other points of view, I haven't exactly been blessed with Alfa companionship or Alfa thinking down here in Bideford.

I like the pics of the 75s, black aint me favourite colour, although I got a black daily driver, I do like Alfa red, even though it tends to go gay after time. I wonder what a Zoe Yellow 75 would look like??? It might make yer eyeballs bleed???:conf1:

I've heard in the past polybushing the front of a gtv/spider doesn't actually help the handling makes it worse. Never polybushed mine just the rears
