Poole - Quay For My Car - Italian Stallions Friday 25th July

Following last year's success, one of the popular Friday evening events held on Poole Quay will again be devoted to Italian cars. The gathering, on 25th July will run from 6-9pm and space will be allocated strictly in order of arrival with no booking, although if you get there before 6pm you will find that no waiting is allowed, so have to go back around the town to wait elsewhere. After parking up as directed, you are free to wander as you wish, taking in the atmosphere and perhaps eating in one of the many bars and restaurants. The capacity is 100 or more vehicles, so we hope that there will be a good turnout again. Its the same weekend as the Silverstone Classic but many people will be able to combine both events. I was going but now I'm mopping up at home after a huge downpour.
As at 1830hrs it is now brightening up. So should still be ok.

It brightened up as we sat and had a pie in the stables. Met up with Martin (MLC) and wandered around with his wife's friends too.

6 masers turned up, but didn't see any of the other owners. 4x4200's, 1x3200 and we saw the back of what looked like a Shamal leaving early. Shame as it looked lovely and I'd have liked to see up close. Doris seemed to be well liked by all!

Oh, and there were some red cars there too...I think. Actually a nice turn out given the weather.

Now can anyone name this green? I'm not sure my camera phone can do it justice.
