Something about Alfa Spiders.

So irresistible - especially in red.

Always wanted a 1959 Giulia Spider.

The guy is local and a retiree and he is probably the best rebuilder out there of Lancia's particularly Fulvia's. Now I got chatting and this one took him 3 years, he said it wasn't a concourse car but believe me it was mint. The attention to detail in the engine bay etc was simply stunning. He paid £500 for this RHD car and it was a real rotbox. I would have him build me one in a heartbeat could I find one for him to do!

I also love the Fulvia, and a good friend bought one a few years ago which I posted on here.
His experience was unfortunately one of unreliability and everytime he called around, I had to rescue him either coming or going home.
Just silly things, fuel, flat tyres etc so when the selling dealer phoned him asking whether he wanted to sell, he agreed. It's now in Australia!

That Alfa is one of the very few that I would part ways with Marci for........classically beautiful.
