Rear Parking Sensors

On my 2007 GT, I have 4 rear parking sensors in the rear bumper.

I had noticed them playing up of late so I tested them with my hand and the outer 2 sensors work but the inner two, nearest the number plate don't work anymore.

Now, If one had failed, I could understand but for a pair, makes me thing there is a common cause.

Anyone got any pointers, fuse, wiring and the like?

Any one of the sensors failing SHOULD cause a long tone which is louder than the normal "you've selected reverse" warning beep, if it's not doing this then you may indeed have 2 faulty sensors in which case they should be replaced.

I will check but I have not noticed anything in the long loud beep dept. I just get a single tone 2 second beeb when I engage reverse.

Definately a dodgy sensor then, the beep shouldn't be 2 secs, just a short blip.

Checked today, no, I just get the single quick beep when I engage reverse. I will give them a clean at the weekend and see if it makes any difference.
