Just heard the sad news, this year has seen so many heroes and ledgends die, will it end soon?

This is sudden, he went in for a routine shoulder op and died from an infection! MRSA is over in Spain too then?

Healthcare in Spain generally is abysmal. Amazes me anyone from the UK would risk an operation out there.
I would say - accept the worst weather and prolong your life...

Same here. Never a trendy band but just great fun. Brilliant live and never took themselves seriously. Sad news this.

2016 is a bad one personally, an ex-RAF colleague died earlier this year as well as an old school friend just 2 days ago, both in their mid-40s! Both heart attacks.

She is 90 though, at that age she could have anything from 10 minutes to 10 years

My mother in law is 91 , I was trying to explain how old her grandmother was to my daughter when she was 14 , it put it into perspective when I said when your grandmother was your age the Germans had just invaded Poland

My mother in law is 91 , I was trying to explain how old her grandmother was to my daughter when she was 14 , it put it into perspective when I said when your grandmother was your age the Germans had just invaded Poland

My grandmother is still going at 102. Even I can't comprehend how old that is!

2016 has been a terrible year for well known legends and also some close family passing away for me. Really looking forward to starting over in 2017!

Its not impossible you know. I've been married for 20 years and still living a happy life. Very glad to be alive, and getting happier as we go on.
