Or speak to Athol, he has had some bargain builds available before!!

I bought a Pinarello from Athol last autumn. A lovely looking bike at a sensible 2nd hand price. I've now bought an even lighter Cervelo R5 as well.

And if I could magic a few stone from my overly ample frame I may even have a go at riding one of them.

I normally do about 100(Winter Time)-300 miles(Summer time) a week but in the last year ill health and 18 hour days have taken their toll and I am at least 3 stone over weight and feel every ounce of it, I am now back to fighting mood so will start to crank up the miles on the turbo/Rollers and when it is warmer on the road.

Rollers - kudos - I daren't - got a turbo but its mainly covered in dust now as I would rather get cold and wet on the hybrid, so much so that when I came off 5 weeks ago, I have actually fractured my claivical or collar bone - been giving me gyp so went to see a physio mate - showed him the lump that has grown on front of my shoulder and he says - when did you break it - never I says, 6-8 weeks in sling he says, joking - i rode another 20 miles home and done 300/400 since.......oops - wife was livid - told you to go to hospital etc etc. It was sore but hey...........

I have a spare set of rollers if you fancy borrowing them to have a go, it is a really good work out and gets your heart beat up a lot quicker than the turbo and teaches you balance.

Or if you are up my way, I'd be happy to teach you how to use them?

Cool - but would have to be down your way - I am somewhere in the swimming pool up North that Cameron has all ready forgot about.

Do they work with stabilisers!!!!

Dave, sandwich yourself between a door frame or I use my downstairs loo as that is perfect and stopped my dogs knocking me over, then slowly let your arms relax and in no time you'll be doing OK.

If I am up your way, then will give you a shout, I have got a meeting in Blackpool shortly if that is any help

I actually work in Heysham and sometimes fly out of Blackpool to the platforms (day tripper - 2/3 at most) but as of next Wednesday I am on holiday en route to India and getting fat on local cuisine and cheap plonk in India until 5th March........

I'll see what we can do as unfortunately my wife is starting Chemo (2nd time in 5 years)and her cycle will hit her twice in March I fear and I need to be at home when she has low counts.

Hey no problem, John,
Look after your family first and foremost.
I will only brake the other shoulder anyhow - no doubt!!!
