Morning all

Feeling happy this morning as last night after 5 hours of fiddling about with the steering angle sensor on the Q4, I finally managed to set it at the correct position to work correctly. This has been a job on the to do list since April last year!!! I had to get new plastic sensor pick ups 3D printed and then adjust the sensor frame to allow more adjustment to pick up 2.5v with the steering straight. All this in the usual place you can only feel what you are doing where the steering box sits, accessed through the wheel arch, with an Alfa tester hanging out the drivers window to display the voltage at the sensor. Had to modify the sensor bolt down points to get the necessary adjustment as I think the pick up slot for the sensor in the steering rack had been placed back in the wrong position when it had been rebuilt. This job would be impossible to do without my Merelli tester and correct module!

I love a challange:)

Happy days

Well done. These 3D printers are great for making this sort of thing.

Morning all, another day of sun, over eating and boozing....well someone's got to do it!
