Morning, nothing new to report other than I am now back in the Audi and the Spider is in slumber state in the garage awaiting new rear end poly bush kit and Q2 to be fitted....one for the winter.

Trust me, there are times when I wish I could neck a few, know exactly what you mean sir. I just can't trust my self not to grab my car keys!! :(

No, there are 2 buttons that release the hood deck and the worm gears. The hood deck release does nothing so i cant go up or down.

I do know what the problem is now and will be a simple fix (famous last words)

Morning all, the Police have found the stolen Maserati https://twitter.com/mpscollierrow/status/768846166540910593 less than four miles from home on cloned Maserati plates, also found an Audi A6 in the same location that was stolen about 5 miles away, dumb *** thieves had even left the wrap on the wings making it extremely identifiable! They have smashed the fuel cap off it so I'm guessing they have put some miles on it as they have had to refuel, didn't manage to find the release button or even the emergency cord!

I've moved on, just an interest in finding out what the insurance would want for it now?

Off to Lambeth this morning.

Hope they caught the basterds and all! Will keep an eye out for it on the salvage sites ;)
