Correct, english and right hand drive, don't know where it has been all its life but not a spot of rust and a unmarked interior. Unbelievable :)

Afternoon all, 159 has a brand new mot :)

I have a 156 to get rid of if anyone wants a donor, come and get it (more or less); got a recent selespeed gearbox from a 147 in it, carbon fibre dash, black leather and a few other good bits!

Just got its replacement... First non-Italian I have bought in many years.

That's sad to see, post it on a few of the Alfa facebook groups, sure someone will pick it up :(

It is sad Nik but I have taken a car that sat unused for almost three years and have hammered it into the ground in the last two doing 50,000 miles. It has been one of the most drivable cars I've ever had, super comfy leather seats, great driving manners and a great turn of speed when you want it. Comfort only surpassed by my old 123 230e Mercedes but that had sprung seats!

If I had time I'd probably have changed the engine out, rebuilt the suspension all round and welded up the bits that are falling off but honestly I don't and any spare time I will have needs to be put into the GS or god forbid the Frankenvan!

Would I have another one? I cannot tell you how tempted I was by the offer Felice put to me for the 159 TB Sportwaggen he has at Sunnyside but I know what it would be like in two years!

Now I have one, Newton, the 159 is very very well built and solid, my high millage one is so much more solid a vehicle then my 156, I think it would be fine ;)

Morning all :)

Morning all, not pleased to report the Volvo disapointed yesterday by blowing out a steering rack seal (I think) on the way home last night so it is over the road this morning to be looked at (I have no intention of maintaining this one myself). The joys of private sales I suppose. They were only recently replaced so I'm kind of hoping it is just a bolt shaken out or something. To access it however the back of the sub-frame has to be dropped down!

Have fun all...
