They are both nice, i went in a Red 996 C4S Cabriolet when i worked at the Porsche & Ferrari specialist, pretty rare in Red. Looked really nice.

See.... never been a fan of the 911 convertable always looked like a pram but over the last few weeks the 997 convertable has been catching my eye especially the Turbo...Like this one..

they are unbelievable, i think they are quicker than an F430.

Not sure as never been in a 430.......I now the 996 Turbo I drove was quicker than the 360 Chris had on his forecourt........We went down a long straight and I floored it and couldn't believe how it picked up and went..Chris, who has driven a few fast cars in his time said it was a little scary as a passenger.....a great fast car ...

Bargain now as well, they look nice in Cobalt Blue or Guards Red, bit different to the usual silver, black and grey. F430 is a rapid car but the 997 Turbo seems as though it manages to get it's power down earlier, that is probably due to the 4wd system.

Yep, that 4wd does make a difference when you have that much power to out on the road...
