I've driven a 550 and they are sublime. 456 should be slightly diluted by weight, lower power and softer suspension. The auto is only 4 speeds. Personally I would prefer a 456M with a manual box but they hardly exist as most people moved onto the 550 when that came out in 97. 456M came out in 98 IIRC.

Watching 599s slowly depreciate. But as per the Stradale discussion at lunch yesterday, you'd struggle to find a car more usable, charismatic and as much fun as ours are. Would be incredibly hard to justify, even with excellent man-maths.

But I do love looking.
