Ahhh, the passenger seat motor...I had had the same problem and Ed spent a good half day getting the motor out, cleaning/re-soldering and then getting it working again. Guess these things will eventually end up needing to be replaced again.

My 156 Selespeed was nothing but trouble. I bought it as a 3 year old (back in 2001) and I think I spent as much keeping it running as it cost me to buy. The gearbox was a complete pain in the ***. But what a looker (at the time) and it was a joy to drive whenever it worked properly.
Can any of the resident 4C owners comment on having it as a daily. Looking at the 2nd hand market, they all seem to have low low miles which makes me think that they're weekend cars but if I was going to spend £40k+, I'd want it to be a daily.
Central Vehicle leasing have got it up at £220 + VAT, currently enjoying a £110 discount. Perhaps Alfa are trying to flood the small exec market with the diesel Giulia before the premium models hit? Read that there will be a 'Veloce' model sometime next year, which will sit between the two...
Petrol is £370 + VAT for the smaller engine and £680 + VAT for the Quadrifoglio. HP/finance lease may work out cheaper depending on anticipated residuals but then you need to find a big deposit.
