An excerpt from AutoExpress:

"Alfa Romeo Giulia: price and specs

Exact prices have not been announced, and we’ll have to wait until next year for finalised specs for the diesel and lesser petrol models, but a spokesperson has confirmed the hot QV version will cost from £53,000 in Germany. A lightweight version, with carbon fibre roof and bonnet, ceramic brakes and racing seats, will start at £66,000."

The order form I have says £51k, but I reckon the base version will retail at close to £60k and the lightweight at £72k+ - pure conjecture. Always difficult as the car tax regimes and VAT rates differ throughout Europe.

Car will be in M4s backyard prices starting £52,000+

I would buy a 4c and keep the spare cash! :)
Yes, I know they are completely different cars but it still seems silly money to me for the type of car that it is.

Isn't that ghibli price in the UK ?

That is rabbit warren of pipework....

OWNER: My engine seems down on power and there are hissing noises

ALFA: Sir, your turbo system has a small leak and that is what is causing your problem

OWNER: Which pipe?

ALFA: We don't know

Love the fake chrome bits on the engine cover, much prefer their older effort, twin throttle bodies look cool though:

I'm with you Andy, but I do like the Alfa (and the Ghibli). Not sure about the new QP (haven't seen one - and unlikely to oop north here)
May start looking at the QPGTS but as ever MONEY!!

A good QP Sport GTS an be had from about 40k but they look like they are going up in price as not many about and some are buying them up instead of the new model.
