Go for it!! ;) Anywhere near getting your old facelift back then??

Nah, the guy decided to keep it, I offered him £4k for it, it needed complete respray as the lacquer was flaking off all over.

He wanted £6.5k, if it did not require painting, I would have gladly paid it.

Yeah is was up for £6,800.

It's in a bit of a state, the drivers seat is a mess and it has a lot of parking dents. Laquer is flaking off all over, wheels need refurb, the only thing it has going for it is the mileage, and I put 24k of those on it the first time around.

It's a shame as I would paint it white but the guy does not want to be sensible about the price.

I think people are scared for some reason, not sure why as its quite a simple set up and easy to work on, but I guess a 20 year old 4 wheel drive boxer may sound mad! I would like to keep it but as winter is here and my 2 garages are already full, work place is about to move so just need a banger for work, so it may well be sold

...plus he's got a fleet of 75's here and there ... hahaha

Well for one thing, I'm glad prices on 33's are starting to pick up !
Three or four years ago, you'd struggle to find anything over 500 pounds !

The P4 is an excellent idea, always wanted one myself.

S3 is a better choice - rust wize - but S2's are lighter ;)

Suspension is not an issue :)

Must admit an S3 is what I would go for. So tell me, was there an S3 P4 or am I looking at a 1.7ie only or is there another S3 I should go for?

Not sure what you mean by S3?

S1
facelift
S2

thats it, no such thing as S3 but its common that S2 is called S3 and the facelift as S2, is how I see it anyway, so mine is S2 but called S3
