Should I buy this?

2004 GTV 3.2V6 silver with red leather, 52k miles.

Bad bits, it needs a cam belt but he says if I supply the parts he will get it fitted (I will be present whilst this is done) and then it will be MOT'd plus the car has been laid up for 2 years (garaged).

It has one door ding, a couple of scuffed alloys and a touched in bad chip on the nose, but generally its in good order.

Do I buy it???

Well if you ever bring it back home to Eastleigh, give me a PM as I always had a soft spot for the V6 GTV, had a 3l Phase 2 back in the day.

White sounds nice but I would wrap it rather than paint as you may devalue it if its in a non genuine colour and your right, there are very few of those 3.2's so definitely an appreciating classic.

Surely will and I get what your saying about the repaint. I think I will wrap it if I do and use it as a SportsAlfa.com promo car sort of thing.

Van, its a good price, not silly, good...about a fifth of what they were new.

The problem is that sure, there are a lot of P1 and P2 V6's but the 3.2 is very rare, I think something like 40 or 50 in the country. Now you can dismiss half of them as knackered, written off and 100k miles plus.

So that leaves you with as little as 25 desirables left. I have been looking for about 3 years for a good example and this is the first one I have considered seriously. I am going to go have a look on Thursday.

It does mean that the GranSport will have to wait for another 9 months.

Upto you but I still think your not going to make anything on this, you say keeper but say will be worth loads in the future? I had one just like this as it came up for sale close to me so I bought it, I like red Moo but not sure it worked in a silver car TBH, also if you wrap it that will just get chipped away on the doors, on a plus it has teledials that are worth £500 but not P3

Hate to say it, i prefer the P2, but if it's the P3 thats your taste then the 3.2 is the one

P3 is much nicer but I guess this has been discussed to death.

If its nice I am going to buy it.

Mate, looks great mate and much better around Llandow than the big Maserati.......But you must add a Q2...This is a must for any GTV..It transforms the handling but I said that many times so I sure ou know.

Yep, the car will be modded, Q2. Konis, Ragazzon exhaust and the interior will be treated to the red dash plus the other panels too.
