meeting up on Sat 8th at Ace cafe then a little drive to the karting, then back to Ace and some lunch thne driving to the hotel where we will get changed and make our way to the restaurant, after that bar till late

Lady Stig and I will be staying at the Premier Inn on Friday night, probably arriving late afternoon. If anyone else is with us for that, we can all go out, or stay there for dinner.
The Ace Cafe is is only a short distance away for Saturday Breakfast Meet, then on to the Karting Venue. After that back to the Ace Cafe for more refreshments. Then we go off to the Crown Plaza Hotel, book in and relax until we go out for dinner.
AFTER THAT IT'S EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF IN THE LATE DRINKING SESSION...!!!!!!

Lady Stig and I have booked a King Club Room and if anyone fancies 3 in a bed, don't ask us, we like our space to romp around in.

If I have got any of that wrong, please put me straight so that we are all clear on what's going on.

Sports Maserati Christmas Meet.

Friday 7th December / Saturday 8th December / Sunday 9th December.

Itinerary.

Friday PM.

Casual meeting at Premier Inn London Greenford for drinks, food and overnight accommodation for anyone interested.

Saturday.

10.00am - Meet at Ace Cafe for breckie and chat.

1.30pm - Karting at TeamSport Karting, Edmonton, North London.

This is last years venue, it's indoor with petrol karts.
Because of increased numbers we will probably not be able to do the same event format (dependant on final numbers). If this is the case we will have to go for the Premier Exclusive format with an extra session to get to a final winner. Cost per driver is £63.95, but if no-one is bothered to get to a final winner it can be reduced to £45.95 per driver.

4.00pm - Head off for The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Marlow.

The block booking rate they have come back with is £165 with breakfast and £155 without, but you can book via Trip Adviser etc for £103, though this too doesn't include breakfast and is the non-refundable rate with limited availability.

I can pursue the block booking route, but will need financial commitment from everyone quickly to secure it, as it's contracted, or alternatively everyone can book their own rooms at the prevailing best rate.

7.00pm - Drinks at hotel.

7.30pm - taxis.

8.00pm - Evening meal at Villa D-Este,Marlow.

We'll be choosing from the party menu, and I've told the restaurant we'll choose in advance of arriving, so I'll start a menu thread in due course. We'll also sort out a bar tab for drinks, so I suggest you budget on around £50.00 - £55.00 per head.

After this it's still a bit sketchy. If I can find a local pub that looks suitable, I suggest we retire there for after dinner drinks to avoid the horrendous rates at the hotel. If this happens, taxis will be arranged to pick us up from the pub for transport back to the hotel later.

Sunday - Lie in and hang-over brunch. We can either eat at the hotel, or I can try to find a suitable venue nearby. Those wanting to head off home directly can of course do so.

All hotel rooms for Friday and Saturday need to be booked individually.
