It is sad when anyone dies young and Tara sadly did just that, but many are mourning because of her celebrity status not because of what she contributed to life and others well being.

Unfortunately although I liked her spirit, I have no time for celebrities who typically contribute f**k all to society, unless it is for personal gain and to increase their likeability, it is the unsung here's that get my vote!

I must agree - I wouldn't wish her illness on anybody, that in itself is tragic. Being born into privelidge she decided to snort it, drink it or smoke it, I have little time for those that choose this then blame it on 'some demons' she was not a 'celebrity' in any shape or form, she could have led a life of obscurity if it wasn't for public shows of excess at every available opportunity.
Sadly IMO she wasn't even particularly pleasing on the eye

It would be my worst nightmare to be famous. I'd rather slip by unnoticed. Obviously with a very large back pocket.....but in a way that nobody knows. I'm not famous or loaded so I'm half way there!

Very sad indeed but someone who doesn't value or appreciate life doesn't gain my respect or tears I'm afraid. People with money & privileged backgrounds could do so much more but often choose not too.

Well, my view may be a little different. I try not to judge anyone regardless of their background or up bringing. Those of who toil all our lives for what we think is a decent lifestyle can be judgmental about those born into a "better" life. But is it? Really. Is the pressure to be seen or performing in the public eye good. Doubt it. As Dean says, I hope I would be under the radar. Its like a conversation I had with Catman last week I think where I discussed my son and trying to educate him about people sleeping in doorways. They are not all bad, smelly lazy people because that is how they look, maybe fallen on hard times, so again, I try not to judge and hopefully have taught the kids that, but at the end of the day we are talking about something that is precious to us all.......life....how we lead it is up to all of us, and unfortunately no matter what back ground we are from some of us will succumb to the vagaries of life and society. Be what it may......
