Belated morning greetings, been buys and went to a rather damp, wet and dark Ace Cafe Italian night yesterday.
Managed to break my electric garage door...opened it and it smacked the spider that was up on the ramp, sheered the shuttle and the chain came swinging down and the double door slammed to the ground. Luckily it hit the soft top and the garage door broke and the swinging chain missed the Alfa by an inch...still feeling a numpty mind!

I have not inspected where the door hit the roof yet but I have repaired the door to fit the part tomorrow.

Morning all, well the garage door is fixed but ended up taking all of Saturday with all the internal guts of the gearbox strewn across my kitchen...what a job that was, with a lot of swearing too! Thankfully no damage to the Spiders roof it hit.
Just at work today, started the reassembly of the spider rear end with all new poly bushes and powder coated components. Power flex supplied the wrong washers with one of the bush kits so am waiting for new parts. Hoping to have that all back together on my day off on Wednesday.
Then I have to clean up the hubs/discs and repaint then do an oil and filter change and she is good for next summer with only the possibility of fitting a Q2 diff and finally wiring up the AMP/SUB I bought.
