The Game Larder in Chessington used to do squirrel (amongst other treats). That was a few years back when I lived in them there parts. Wondering if it's still going (and if it still does squirrel).

edit. It is! But it's in Claygate. Its Facebook page is silent on the topic of squirrels.

often thought in getting the the 12 bore Beretta out for the bloomin squirrels here, but don't think there'd be much left to cook and don't really fancy picking out all the lead pellets in what's left either ;)

i do believe squirrels are classed as vermin, not sure about pigeons though, was and is odd that squirrel pie did appear apparently on some menus a while back, in my younger days might have tried it but not these days, great thread drift to squirrel talk
