It's like an F1 car with a body-kit, lights and airbags, right? Helluvan engine!
Havent they done an F1 car with a body kit already…..It’s called Vulcan. Track only though I suppose……

Ah, you're right. So is this the road version of that?Havent they done an F1 car with a body kit already…..It’s called Vulcan. Track only though I suppose……

Vulcan was front engined, basically a trick DB9.
I’d say the thing that broke down a lot at Goowood was an F1 car for the road. This is more a Ferrari 488 competitor.
Not sure about the naming. It’s not very British, Victor, Valiant, Vernon or Vicar would be better: “Introducing the Aston Martin Vicar, an acceptable and inoffensive car for a Sunday, if you want fire and brimstone go see the Italians”
Probably a different league to the 488 as it is priced between 600 and 700k.
It was the only name I could remember, they’ve all got a bit nasty, so lost track of them, SPF90 is the one I meant.
New V12 Vantage RS?
New 2023 Aston Martin Vantage V12 RS makes shock outing | Autocar
Heavily modified Vantage appears at the 'Ring; likely to rival Porsche 911 Turbo S with 700bhp and 555lb ftwww.autocar.co.uk
The inside of the new Vantage is easy enough to get used to. I mean, it's not unintuitive, but it looks badly thought through and messy. And I hate stick-on screens. And the infotainment is dated as h3ll.Right so not a V12 S replacement then. A limited run to make lots of money if those serial Aston buyers who have a GT8, GT12 etc already in their collection. I love the interior in your car but must say after driving the new Vantage I didn’t dislike the new interior. Yours in more classy inside though.
Yep saw that Adam…..That’s rather exciting. They did say they wouldn’t put a V12 in the new Vanatge but looks like that may change. Hard to see though how much more performance you could get as the V8 hits 60 in 3.6 seconds and pulls like a train. Much more would be to much for my little brain to compute….Or maybe not.

I was having a play on the new configurator. Exterior is lovely, the seats look… a little, shall we say, a little overstyled? Not a fan of chopped carbon either…The old Vantage has been one of my favourite looking cars ever, and if I didn't need 4 seats, I'd have one now. But the new one I just cant like that front end.
The new DBS Superleggera I think is one if the best looking cars on sale full stop. Gorgeous.
This new V12 Vantage appears to be using a DBS front end, which is definitely better than the current Vantage, but not a patch on the DBS.
Can see a bit of 6 series shape in that photo, I don't think the new Vantage is a patch on the earlier version in the looks dept.
Thanks Andy - there are only 9 Vanquish fitted with them apparently. I think most are 6-speed versions (the white press car and a Cobalt Blue I have seen and one in Germany. They are all completely different in their colour and detailing, so 9 unique cars.
