Are there any events early September? My husband and I are coming to Scotland (Inverness to Edinburgh) for the first couple weeks of September, from Texas, USA and would love to attend a show. We own a hot rod shop here in Texas, Bully Rods. I am a Jaguar enthusiast (old and new) but love most things with an engine, whereas my husband loves anything pre-70's for the most part.

Thanks for any help.
the Grantown Motormania event normally happens on the first Sunday in September. I've been along a few times and there's normally a good mix of exotic and not so exotic motors. Nice setting and they close off the whole whole high street. Photo from a few year's back. Grantown on Spey is on route between Edinburgh and Inverness.IMG_0095~photo-full.jpg

My car club just had news that we are too late for entry to this years Glams castle as a club outing! So I will just have to see if I can get show pass, or whatever
It is one of the premier events in Scotland, but our club has been going for years, you would think past history attendance would count..... sniff

The car park is usually full of interesting stuff anyway I had my 348 parked next to an Ultima a few years ago.

From what I gather, it’s like this every year. ClubLotus have been sending emails about Glamis since November and had most cars confirmed and paid by January.

It’s a strange show none the less, lots of the same stuff each year, the car park is always worth a quick walk around for some nice stuff!!

Hi, Just to let you know if you are entering your car for the Stirling & District Classic Car show on Sunday 12th May 2024, entries have to be in before 12th April.

You do not have to be in a club stand, as a large area is set aside for individual cars. So rather than having your car hidden away in the car park. show it in the main area!

All info can be found at sdccc.co.uk website. (PS do not be put off with the word 'classic' all cars welcome, if you consider your car a 'classic')

the italian day always good and since not in a field now.........it is not weather reliant......unlike the previous venue, remember the last one there, we spent the first 2 hours sitting in our cars during a torrential downpour! lol. hopefully if nothing else gets in the way we'll make it and may even try a nice vinyl livery for the old girl too ;)
