The sound is nice but not Ferrari-like.

The F430 sounds like a Ferrari should be.

Here's a sound clip. As BigFoot says, it is a little muted. I see it more of an evolution than a dilution e.g. Ferrari's first nod at emmissions reduction. I find myself being drawn more and more towards this car - perhaps it's the underlying Maserati origins/genetics...

You know when a car has ticked the Ferrari design superiority box when it looks best in red! And this one certainly does...

There was an F40 at Auto Italia Brooklands, that sounded immense the california is all rasp, there's no timbre to the note, mind you just revving the engine whilst under no load doesn't really say much anyway.
