I would've been there but I've just found out that I can't get a discounted space on any of the car ferries off the Isle of Wight. Prices go crazy on summer weekends so I'm not going to be there now! ... Next event for me will be Simply Italian at Beaulieu on 20th July. I've already booked the car ferry for that one just to make sure I get a discounted space. Unfortunately, Wightlink only offer a limited number of discounted spaces to IOW residents on any one ferry - providing you give them money upfront for a so called Multilink pass - and once they're gone, they're gone ...

I agree - weather is going to be great, perfect excuse to wake the Strad up. I will be heading from M25 Junc 20 and then down the M3 - last one to arrive buys breakfast

Looking forward to the next Departure Lounge meet on Saturday 3rd August. This time I managed to book an Isle of Wight ferry at an affordable price so I'll be there ... Anyone else going?
