I have a couple of choice items available for sale that I've discovered during my clearout
Custom-fit door speakers
You may know I'm no fan of the Bose stuff in these cars and have ripped it out of a 147 and a more recent GT. I spent a lot of time designing and then making these mounts for the replacement speakers. The drivers are attached to baffle mounts which also hold the crossovers; the tweeters are directional and mounted into replacement Alfa Romeo door handle surrounds (£50 alone from AR!). The difference in sound was night and day over the Bose speakers, so I can only imagine how much better than the 'standard' speakers they are:
Double DIN head unit fitting kit
I threw the rubbish head unit out as well and replaced it with a rather lovely Pioneer double DIN unit. You lose the tray thing and the cup holder, but it's a worthwhile sacrifice IMO. Double DIN Alfa Romeo surround and cage for head unit:
Pioneer AVH-4400BT
A cracking double DIN head unit with 7" touch screen display (details here http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/archive/AVH-4400BT/page.html) Very expandable with 3 pre-outs, Bluetooth connection as well as an iPod cable. Parrot hands free phone capabilities, the list goes on. Only in the car for 3 months before I sold it:
Alfa Romeo iPod connector
I think this fits all models, but I'm going to play safe and say I know it definitely fits 147s and GTs. Plugs into the back of the standard head unit and your iPod plugs into it. Comes with fitting instructions:
Door handle in satin finish
I've used the hinge, but this is a brand new, boxed door handle in satin chrome for the Blackline and I think GTA models:
Please contact me for prices/to make offers. I'm not looking for silly money and am offering them to SM members first at a preferential rate before I upload to egay.
