GranTurismo - Rear Boot/Lights Alignment

Hi all, I’m hoping at some point to be in the market for a MY2018 Grancabrio but had to hold off due to a new family car purchase.

While browsing the car ads I’ve noticed that on the odd car the rear boot lid and lights don’t seem quite lined up correctly. Has anyone else noticed this and had it corrected?

Wasn’t sure if it’s some kind of alignment adjustment issue or some more permanent?!

Thanks in advance

Example on this car

That looks like what happens with my QP when I press the boot release button on the dash - the boot opens by a fraction so you can lift it without having to operate the release mechanism on the boot itself.

Yes - looks like the boot isn’t shut properly. I’ve had 3 GTs and none looked like that.

It may be an alignment issue, I had this on mine when I went to view to purchase. Raised it with the dealer and they sorted before collection.

99% sure the one in your link is of an open boot. Dealers may be leaving the boot open all the time to avoid issues if the battery goes flat.

Yes I would say the boot is open.

If you’re looking for a MY20 in a stunning Tricoat blue with only a few thousand miles on it, sportscats, yellow calipers, yellow stitching and uprated paddle shifters with yellow inserts I have a customer that is thinking of selling contact me.

Owned from new and I would expect it to be a similar price to the one above.

Thanks guys, ah that makes sense if the boots open and if not sounds like it can be fixed.
Not sure when I’ll be lucky enough to get into one but nice to be prepared.
