We'll be there with a group of Alfa owners although not as many Alfas as there use to be, including me as this year the Maserati is getting a run down. Unlike the SM boys we will be camping as one it's cheap and two it is a great atmosphere - Houx Annexe again this year feel free to look us up if you're there.
Going down first thing Wednesday through the tunnel and straight there - Spyder being chased by a 480 BHP Supra Turbo (hope he can keep up )
Camping at Houx Annexe - around 20 in total
Coming back on Sunday straight after the race - plan to be home by midnight
Anyone down there feel free to look us up, we might even share a beer or two with you
Would there be a possibility of getting a few people from Sports Alfa to head to Le Mans? (If there was enough interest of course). I was planning on heading over myself or just tag along with a group of Irish petrolheads. It would be great craic to get a group going and maybe meet up with the others already going with groups it would be my first year going.
I think it would be a great event. Tickets are reasonably priced too. Quite liking the comprehensive ticket that gets you access to the pit lane. Camping looks to be a good option too.
Tickets and campsites are quite cheap but all the good campsites either go early or are held by tour companies who charge more. We are camp at Houx Annexe which is inside the circuit and easy to get tot the track and the village. Our tickets are already booked so if you are going get sorted soon if you want decent camping.
This is a cheap boys weekend, we go from Wednesday to Sunday to catch the qualifying(Wed & Thur evening) and the race 3pm Sat - 3pm Sun.
