Hi guys, wanted to drop you a line to say thank you very much for Llandow track day on Friday, both myself and Natalie had a fantastic time, and really enjoyed meeting you all and hope that we are able to return the favour with our new dealer launch in June! Thanks again - Paul (Dick Lovett)

Hi Paul, great to meet you again and a big thanks or both coming along with the stunning GT S......It was good to have a chat over lunch....

Anyone had any issues with their cars since Llandow?

The GTS has been fine, just had a few twangs coming from the near side rear as I think the coil spring has been re seating itself. If anything the brakes are better for the abuse!

Tyres are fooked naturally.

I've had a door sill light fall out but other than that (and the obvious tyre wear), nothing to report so far....

Similar with the coil springs Matt, but now re-bedded and fine.

I'll change the brake fluid, engine oil and filter when I get back from MC, as between Llandow and a long European run (especially the route Napoleon bit), I think both oils will be about shot by then.

Engine oil should be OK even after the MC trip, not sure about the brake fluid though, it might have got a little cooked.

Robert, I was running standard brake fluid, and yes it got cooked. It doesn't take long, only 15 - 20 minutes of hard and repetitive braking and it's stinking hot. I'll change this to racing fluid.

Engine oil will last one year at best in the GS and that's before I factor in daily use and asking it to cope with an engine racing around a track on the red line for a day. Also bear in mind for the first 6 years of it's life it was a weekend toy averaging less than 2K miles per annum. I've done more than that in my first 3 months of ownership, and the MC trip will double that again, so suddenly the oil is being asked to work much harder. 5W40 is like tap water when hot. Great for getting oil around a big engine, but not so good for holding on to crud, so a change is prudent I think. It's due its annual shortly after MC, so I'll just bring that forward a few weeks.

Miles, if that's the situation I don't blame you. As I've just had a service I am hoping all is OK, I asked Marios to check the condition of the brake fluid, so I assume it is OK too. Not much time left now mate, get her in and titivated with.
