Hi All

The Alfa Owners Club are running their annual MITCAR event in Burghley House on the 8th October - all Italian Cars Welcome. Tickets are £12 for a car and all passengers. 10:00 - 16:00. https://www.facebook.com/MidlandsItalianCarDay/?locale=en_GB

As I live walking distance from Burghley House I will be going (but with Villanelle, of course) and hope to meet many of you there.

If I can help with directions / logistics then let me know. If it's a bit far then we do have a couple of spare rooms if anyone wants to stay over on the Saturday night.

We love visiting Burghley House, its surrounding villages and Stamford. Such a lovely area.
Unfortunately, we will be on holiday that week. :-(

I'm thinking of doing this if the weather improves at all. I've never been to Burghley House so it does seem like a good excuse for a visit.

Always liked Burghley House although it was the place I first saw my Giulietta and thought one day I will have to own that but strangely didn't take a photo

Local for me, so should hopefully pop along if the weather plays ball

It's late in the year for a car show, so fingers crossed

I am planning on going too, it's fairly local to me. Just hope the weather is OK. Just about every car event I have attended this year it has rained at some point.
Not sure which car I will take yet.

Enjoyed the event and nice to meet you @GTVGEOFF - only thing I didn’t like was the thickness of the grass vs the Ghibli’s notoriously droopy undergarments. Didn’t take too many pics because my mate and I were I doing a bit of a dog intro session

Were you the guy with the lively and cute puppy with the spotted coat that we met on the way in? (As we passed I said "There's my favourite exhibit, no need to look at.the cars." )

Ah that was JJ, my former editor on Modern Classics. I had the somewhat larger greyhound
