Oulton Park, Monday 1st April

It is that time of the year again!! Dave Morris has been in touch to invite us to attend the British GT and F3 races as part of the Supercar Display. Apparently this year the cars will be displayed next to the Paddock. I am rather concerned that once again family reasons mean that I will not be able to go, so feel it would be objectionable for me to try to do any organising if I will not be there. Is there anyone who would be willing to undertake the onerous task of liaising with Dave and arranging for the convoy to get in?
For anyone who has not been before, it is generally a thoroughly enjoyable day in the Cheshire countryside. Turn up (ideally in convoy) at Oulton at 9.30 am, and spend the day watching the racing - all for free!

Hi Terry
Thanks for the nod on this. I shall be more than happy to organise this with Dave albeit a bit of short notice from him. I guess I can just pick up the allocated number of tickets from him on the day. Do you want to let him know that I'll be doing this or shall I?

Hi there
Last year was a great event we all really enjoyed it .
I would love to come again the year to the oulton park event and put the maz on show again there will be 4 of us coming to the event could you arrange the tickets for us

Thinking about it. It's an early start but the company and racing are fun. That's unless they park me off with the red trousers again.

Ok all, I have sent Dave the numbers for cars and people. I shall be there for approx. 8:30am. For those of you that don't have my mobile please message me and I'll pass it on so I can come and meet you at the gate to give you your tickets.

Spoken with Dave this morning and managed to get Stu a ticket. Just spoken with Stu and let him know. When changing jobs I changed my mobile so Stu didn't have my new number! When you both land, give me a call and I'll come and meet you at the gate.

Watched the GT races on TV, first looked very wet but the 2nd seem much better weather wise. Unfortunately most of the race was under a FCY or Safety Car, very little actual racing which was a shame especially if you paid to go and watch.
