Not a great fan of private plates in general, my car came with it and thinking of selling. PM me if interested.
Number plates can mean a lot to some people and nothing to others.
My mate who is a Range Rover fan boy of the extreme went to the trouble of getting the DVLA to list a particular number plate for auction. H153 YVB
Turns out that YVB 153H was the registration number of the first production Range Rover in a lot of publicity shots.
He has it on his new Range Rover.
I still have my friends "1 AM" for sale for a bargain 2M!!
He was offered a lot of money for it and turned it down....silly boy
also has 2 and 3 AM.........
Aston offered him 500k and a car of his choice (this was in 2007) and he said no then they offered 1M and he rejected as he wants 2M.
A you tube blogger then offered him 1.2M as the plate can be read as "i am" and he rejected that aswel
Yes that was the main reason, they wanted that plateYou probably have the silliest friend on the planet haha
The AM 1-77 was first shown in 2008 so I suspect this was the motive behind their offer.
He is wealthy and therefore its just a drop in the ocean to him........unfortunately for people like me, 1M will sort me, my daughter and my future grandchildren out haha 3 generations......well he's either extremely wealthy and not bothered or indeed a very silly boy, 1M in 2007 would have gone a long way in investments, property etc and if done wisely the properties would certainly be worth well in excess of 2 million today
