Personally, we can hold our own.
Kick out Lotus 1 of 2 spots, we can be in there in front of the Aston's.

Think that would be a good spot, Italian power and elegance in front of British ( with German parts ) reserveness ( not sure if that's a real word but I'm going with it )

Not sure that works. They’ll have allocated partly based on how many tickets were sold to each marque. Not Salon Prive‘s fault there are double the amount of Lotus’s going, and you can hardly split them up, that’s not going to happen, nor should it.

And, as I said, quite like the guard of honour position on the road anyway, there are certainly worse spots on that map.

Anyone going to Salon Prive this weekend? We’re staying over the night before at the Mercure in Oxford to save getting up too early.

Weather looking promising too

My first task of the day is to give Lockton my feedback on their poor insurance quote today……
I'm with AIB

Hopefully the cheques in the post for that promotional line :f1:

Me and the better half will be there. I’d not opted for the Maserati parking and just went with the general public. Was hoping that way I could get away with a dirty car, although I’ve just been informed otherwise by she who must be obeyed.

But would they let you into the maserati circle if your not a member of the official maserati uk club ? :worried1:

I suspect it would need one of the other members to kick off about it. Worst case just join online there and then, consider it like getting a speed / maserati awareness course :D

If you’re washing it, you’d may as well go with the Maserati, doesn’t cost anything……

Weather looking good,

It doesn’t say you have to be a member on the Salon Prive site when booking, you can just select Maserati Parking, which is the same place. I think it asks you if you are a member, or interested in joining. What’s the worst that could happen?

Hopefully I'm available next year, work shift roster permitting, want to pretend to be posh for the day, give the car a good deep clean to remove any incriminating evidence :as004:

Oh dear I've said too much again

I’ve already bought, just the public parking… maybe next year. Was only a quick wash.

A good start to our trip. Decided to stay overnight at Mercure Hawkwell House, pleasantly surprised, nice outside. Good place to park car and for sons to have a bit of a kick around. Also blagged free reserved parking at Bicester Village on the way :)

Great day! Sorry I didn’t catch any of you guys… also completely managed to miss getting a photo of the row of Maserati at the entrance, in case anyone got one they can share.

Enjoyed the whole experience, and my sons loved it. Especially the eldest. I blagged him into the Bugatti Chiron stand so he could take pics, was in there on his own. Then talked them into letting him sit in it, only person all day allegedly…..not sure about that part, but that’s what they said. He was chuffed to bits sitting in what we‘re told is a 4 million quid car!
