It's primarily a Supercar meet, but I like Maserati's and as I'm the organiser I can let in who ever I want.




Hedingham Castle Supercar Meet

For the 3rd year, we'll be organising the Hedingham Castle Meet.



Confirmed date: Sunday 19th September 2011

Time: 10am to 4pm

Location: Bayley Street, Castle Hedingham, Halstead, Essex, CO9 3DJ

Entry cost for displaying supercars: £5 per car (includes all occupants in car)

Entry cost for public: tbc

Where does the money go: All money goes to to the Castle Restoration fund

Food: Bring a picnic or get some fast food onsite

Tower viewings: The Tower will be open for viewing. Entrance fee includes entry into the Keep

How many cars can park around the Castle: Around 120 cars around the Castle itself.

Please note, parking is on a first come basis. Earlier you come, the nearer you can park to the Castle.

Any Ferrari
Any Lamborghini
Pagani
Noble's
Lotus Esprit
Ltd edition Porsches
Anything interesting
etc

If in doubt, please contact me otherwise it might get embarassing if we turn you away at the gate. :grin:

I invited various Marques and forums to the Hedingham Castle Meet last year. Out of all the threads I posted on various forums, the only ones to moan about paying the £7 entry fee were the Aston Martin lot. Not only did they moan about having to pay, but they started to take the pee out of me as well.

So I just got my own back and had a good laugh at the same time.

Best wind up I ever did though was on Club Scuderia when I was the Club president there. I told the members that I had received a letter from Ferrari demanding that we not post up any pictures on the forum that contained the Ferrari logo. Clothing, cars etc. Any pictures that were posted, had to have the logo covered up. I had to admit it was a joke after 6 hours when people started taking it too seriously.
