Afternoon off work, got clean shiny car so might aswell go for a drive & get it dirty again

Maybe i went a bit far cleaning the engine cover & oil filler cap but who cares

OCD LJ! You have a fantastic bella, but the plastic engine lets it down, it def don't look like a V6.

LJ, get one of those steam genie things, they are awesome at engine bay detailing and very quick. For the stubborn stuff, use Winns Carb Cleaner its the best for blasting away oil stains in seconds, just watch your eyes from the blow back, once you get it in your eye like I did your never do it again. Mind you my best one was bending down and smacking a 5L can of thinners on the floor without the lid on, shot up into both eyes, not nice.

I too am am a serial car cleaner as Nik has witnessed (cleaning a car in a supermarket car park with my own bucket, sponge and water!)

I don't normally go for the main stream stuff, but take a look at the pink Demon Shine, that is really really good on well waxed paint, gives a great temporary lustre that lasts a week.

I used this stuff for it

It has shifted some of that oil stain but its been there since I've had the car & I've only just tried to get it off so it will probably take a bit to get it gone completely. I'll have a look at the steam cleaner thing though

Haha i hate having a dirty car only trouble is the weather at the moment & then when it is clean as soon as you even think about unlocking the door its covered in shite again .

Top job done by Infinty today, took some 5 hours and longer than first thought as it was very difficult to get around the 4 wheel drive system and rear axel. The end result is perfect and the car sounds amazing and really has benefited from the removal of CATS and the freer flowing exhaust, the pick up is noticeably faster
