Morning. Cheers Nik, we will know in the morning as I have taken the day off and the transporter left Chichester at 4am this morning, should have it on the driveway by 7pm tonight.
I think Ill tip the guy £20, 18hrs driving for £210, 750 miles, thats got to be £100 of fuel so he's on £6.11 an hour by my man maths!
Plan of attack is, jake it up, drop what oil is left in it (i am hoping for a litter) and assuming the cause of the loss of oil is an impacted oil cooler and/or pipes, rig up a bypass pipe so the oil goes straight back in the engine without entering the cooler.
Then fill her up with cheap oil, run, listen, drop the oil and filter inspect for particles and possible repeat.
As i have a scissor lift I am pretty sure I will then just drop the subframe, engine and suspension inc struts straight out the bottom as I believe this is pretty quick to do.
