Some prep today:

  1. Discovered the GPS aerial or module - hopefully the former, it's cheaper - is goosed. Booked for Weds with a moonlighting main dealer tech
  2. Radios charged
  3. Tyre pump thing on charge
  4. Crass stickers being printed, should get them stuck this week
  5. And this hole needs filling:

I'm not harrassing you in any way at all but you have 15 days to sort that lot out...btw has Terry fitted that engine yet or will he start the job on the Sunday 4th June?

I have to dig out my “euro bag” with hi viz, bulbs etc from the garage and am then good to go.

I’m also prepping as I know the next two weeks are going to disappear fast. Strads good, just need to bleed the brakes again after new front pads and Hills caliper pistons.

Got to fit the SM CarPlay V3 so I can test it on the trip and then get them ordered

Radios on charge, hiviz got nibbled by a rat so need a new one of those and I have to get my toll tag out of Ashs’ van.

Everything is booked bar a few restaurants

You should have all got your final bills on WhatsApp.

A bit of prep this weekend:-

1. Camping stuff out of loft and checked
2. Checked chauffeur has got car sorted to align with French rules
3. Checked all tickets, flights, ferries, hotels entrance etc.
4. Booked lunch for journey 1

Just need to

5. Book airport parking (today)
6. Pack bag

I've got loads of spare high Vis vests...some plain, some airport branded (collectors' items)...I'll bring them....

But are you sure that Stevie's still planning on picking you up? Mr Pea has been very quiet around here since he became Mr Ceepea. You need to check that husbandly duties don't deny him and you this essential week of fraternal nonsense.

I've lured him to my house on the Monday evening with steak and beer...and that's as far it goes...
