So Ron has spent the last few nights making new stainless flanges for the exhaust system and hangers for the rear boxes.

I honestly see that as a waste of time when you NEED to have a straight through. At least remove the centre section!

Going to be keeping the original centre section, we like the sound of the rear boxes but definitely don't want it any louder.

Fair enough but it really adds to the ownership. Fore the exhaust mod is a must and one that adds so much to the whole ownership. If you are going to so much trouble with the rebuild why not make it sound like purposeful and as it should have done from factory?

Yes Jorge, passes without centre cat/silencer.

Next mod for me is get rid of the pre-cats.....

That would probably be a MOT fail since you won't have any catalysts in the system and probably a CEL light to go along if these ECU's monitor gases before and after the cat's

Yes indeed I need to test it for sure maybe a nice gutting of pre-cat first to see how the car behaves if not just get a Larini race pipe to help with things!

Clutch and gearbox fitted, also new starter motor and front to back brake lines fitted.

Some progress. All silicone hoses fitted, we're happy with how the injector wiring turned out.
Also started on the front suspension rebuild.

Well my dad has finally finished his 3200 restoration project, here's the outcome.
It just needs a good detail now.
