Will be meeting the Southern convoy but undecided whether to travel the extra distance in the wrong direction to meet the Northern convoy at the motorway services. May turn off into the circuit as they pass and grab a nice space in the display area...

If you do, look for a guy on the gate with a green Auto Italia hoodie going by the name of David Morris. I've just spoken to him and he is very confident that we will all be able to park together. Those without tickets can buy them on the gate as we go through. See you all there!

Thanks will do. Although i will probably get swept up in the excitement of the convoy and end up at the service station with the rest of you!

If you do, there will be a bigger convoy on the way back to the circuit!

Walkie talkie charged, GoPro charged, phone charged, sat nav set up. Early start tomorrow, see some of you there. You may hear my car before you see it!

Great to meet up with some old friends, but sadly the lunch-time laps were cancelled, and then I was told we had to leave immediately as herself needed to get home asap. Shame, as the sun had just come out to thaw a pretty cold and foggy morning.

Sorry I didn't get to talk to you Stuart - I parked opposite the S11 Maser, but couldn't work out who the owner was! We were in the black Spyder, V12 reg.

A few snaps in the car park - Lymm services and at Oulton:

Some exotica, and a mongrel lurking in there ;)

Ah yes.... laps cancelled due to a first lap GT race accident which took a while to sort, followed by a pretty serious accident a few laps later into the GT race. Happened right in front of me, and took them a while to sort out. This meant the GT race over-ran into the lunch break, so not enough time for the display laps with the supercars. Photos of the damage shortly...

Who parked the Spyder, Drew?!

C

That would have been me :)

What you can't see in that photo is the van that WAS parked where Benny and MAF are now parked. I parked in the odd gap - see the car next to me? Also not in the lines... I appreciate that must be a tricky one to look at for the OCD amongst us ;)
