Well collection day was not a let down, Greypaul exhibited good customer service as usual. After keeping me talking and doing paperwork for what seemed like an age and trying to sell me the next car! - they finally removed the covers.
The portofino they had just got in looked fantastic and I have to say sounded really good too. I think they have nailed that in regards to aggressive design, performance, and the semblance of two back seats to pacify wives everywhere.
I was hoping to pop in to see a couple of forum members on the way , but I was there longer than expected and the traffic was awful.
My first impressions of the 458 are :O - using launch out of the toll booths was an experience in itself. Its definitely a lot of money though, and I couldn't help thinking, even looking at the amazing details, exposed engine, thrilling noise and performance- that it would be nice to have two 'Strad sized' back seats. I am going to enjoy owning this - hopefully for a long while, but I will always have a 4 seater strad and a Centennial Cab in the back of my mind.
Would love to hear from some current and previous owners to see if they have any tips on how to enjoy it to the max, and limit future issues!
